Screening of the documentary “The Secret of Nature” and interview with Pedro Miguel Echenique in Pamplona
The documentary “The Secret of Nature” (El secreto de la naturaleza), produced by the Chair of Scientific Culture of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and directed by José Antonio Pérez Ledo, will be shown in the screening room of the Navarra Film Library in Pamplona.
This film explores the life and work of Pedro Miguel Echenique, Professor of Condensed Matter Physics at the UPV/EHU, President of DIPC, and Honorary President of Jakiunde (the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of the Basque Country). The documentary presents the audience with Etxenike’s reflections on science, examining what it is and what it consists of, in a personal and intimate tone.
The screening of the documentary will be followed by an interview/colloquium, led by Icíar Astiasarán Anchía, Professor of Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Navarra and a member of Jakiunde.
